It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
OK not my quote but it kinda sums up how it is at the moment. It's funny cause you can take things for granted a lot. Then decisions you have to make and take and also take the consequences of are envitable and yet hard.
brilliant stuff i think is always in front of our eyes. stuff that is always taken for granted. rubbish stuff well lets be honest overtakes the brilliant stuff and seems to surround us like a cloud with no way out.
hanging in their is slightly easier to say than to actually do.
it will all work out in the end. well getting there is always harder.
sun 28th i'm speaking again at Budleigh Baptist Church (well until they find a minister) on the 2nd part of encountering Jesus. Work being soo slack means ive had time to prepare. thank you..
A man comes to Jesus with his son not well. the disciples or the church at the time couldnt do it. couldnt fix the problem. couldnt heal the boy. sure they tried. Jesus spoke the man and he asked Jesus in a throw away comment "if you can help can you fix this?"
Hearing what the man was really saying he questioned why he said "If you can" you see "with God all is possible for those who believe".
The man realised it was his unbelief and asked "even though i do believe help me over come this."
with the situation i find myself in its easy to believe but to have lost something of the fact that God can do something about my situation.
if ya asking the question "If you can God.." then stop, believe and ask him to help you overcome the unbelief right now and do something about it.

IN THIS WEEKS UPDATE: #the truth is i ask why am i soo tired.. #work and more #leaving laura will i cope?
ok maybe ive been having late nights.. hmm 8 pm.. well what about early mornings.. hmm 4.30am... could it have been the long days.. leaving the house at 5 and getting home at 5 or 6 or 7 or 9..
or potentially the truth that ive not had a day off since 1st september.
it feels like im in one of those reality programmes where its me and the four walls of a van. the pounding boring same o same o tunes from the 1 station or perhaps the talk continues on the big 4. the wavy threads of loud and soft from good ole mw. hmm then you try a cd.. and well youve heard them all.
the break as you arrive at one of the many destinations. at least here some ease of knowing perhaps a biscuit a cup of coffee and a welcome loo break.
yes our arial works, didnt realise the lead was broken, sorry ive not moved the exisiting electrical item thats blocking your way.
hmmm.
and now the weekend. a weekend full of intrigue, murder and perhaps a small mystery. time to kick back relax before the enslaught of another 2 week stretch..
where is the law with white vans. where is the law on time working. why are the police always round the next corner..
still maybe not for much longer.
could i work for a company that pays the same for 35 hours? ooh thats a hard one to work out. could i work for a company that asks just monday to friday? another tough choice.
to be honest a job that gives back a life to its employee for its outside of work relaxing... thats what we all want.
work should be work and play should be play. working in life and not working for life. working to live not living to work.
lets hope and pray huh.
im glad of the friends i have and those who are barely on the scene i welcome your return. its easy to get caught up in work and forget those who are not a part of the immediate.
big goodbyes soon. SO if you are looking for a place to live. ie with me. need to come by real soon. a gap has opened and you are welcome. 4 other housemates cant be wrong.. well why did they leave? hey laura i'll miss you like i miss that other guy who lives in paignton and the married one now oh and that girl i scared at 3 am..
lol.
more mumbles soon.
