and the last night approches and we still have tickets.. which seems a shame.. SO COME AND SEE IT...
ok. maybe you live a million miles away.. dont worry i shall stick some of the play online in the next few days..
work has been extra long this week.. lol. get up later get home later.. not exactly what i needed but there we go..
wednesday saw me get home and to the theatre at 7.22pm ahem curtain up at 7.30pm. thursday was 7.15 and friday wasnt tooo bad. all those jobs im learning ie network printers and fixing them, plus now lottery engineer. hurrah.
ive really enjoyed the play. but a bit sick of muffins and cucumber sandwiches.. the cast has been really well suited and we've worked really well with each other.
so hurrah...

well after an eventful day that sees me today in bed with my leg raised and taking paracetamol and iprobven the first night was fantastic.
ok let me tell you what happened..
sunday i was in the play for the dress rehearsal and during the play my feet started to ache. but i thought nothing of it. Sunday night i was in slight pain.. Monday i woke up and struggled to walk.. rubbish.. but decided i needed to go to work. ok silly as it seems driving not a problem but walking realy hard. so i went to casulty and they had a look. (ok i tried to go to the doctor but he was on another world!!! nah they suggested i should go to the hospital) Having just sat down i was called in. They took a look and noticed my foot was swollen. I have pain down both sides of the foot and over the top. if i turn it left or right it hurts. hurrah.
So suggestion was not to walk on it for 24 hrs. Ahem i said im in a play.. hurrah. to which i am stood for the whole act 3! i decided i needed pain killers and also one of those support bandages.
so right now im on super strength pain kilers (actually not my choice but given to me by the pharmacist) and paracetamol.
Wobbling up the stairs at the theatre i decided, , you know being a true actor!!!, i would just get though the performance. But i had to tell everyone else i'd been in casulty earlier.. , you being a real actor!!!, then solider on! lol
apart from the foot we had a full house and lots of laughter in places we didnt expect laughter but that may of been because Earnest's flies were undone!!! I am still in love with ceily. although every night she forgives me for being wicked.
act 1 passed, act 2 and then act 3. dawning on people that i become earnest, that actually mr worthing was the baby, and finally he is infact earnest.. hurrah. its great.. really nice to hear the auidence react.
WELL IF YOU WANT A TICKET SAT IS ONLY NIGHT LEFT!!! but you shall have to ring the box office.. oh and if you come do stick around at the end. it would be nice to have known you were there!!!
so i spend today in bed... i shall watch some red dwarf and catch up on weeks of nooo sleep.
hurrah.. today i shall NOT break a leg...

firstly id like to say the dress rehearsal went well. really well. ok i missed a number of lines.. but completely bluffed my way through.. i think..
ha ha...
i do think perhaps the play may have sold out as well. unreal. for some reason a coach load of people are coming from surrey to watch us on wednesday. why?? someone thought they were the Oscar Wild Appreciation Group.. I suggested they would all be dressed up in costume and repeat the lines with us.. ha ha.. or they would simply tut when we got the words wrong. hmmm it is a play that people seem to know though. so who knows.

Missing People. 1200 people have gone missing since the dissapearance of Madline. Who are they? Where did they go missing? Why did they go missing? When did they go missing? Where they left somewhere??? can we just care for 1 person more than 1199 others?
1201, 1202, 1203, 1204, 1205.....
PLEASE 1200 people is just over a month.. how many more..

ok a busy weekend with kids on friday night. so we decided (well i surprised the kids) to see pirates of the carribean 3! its.. ok you see i saw the movie in exmouth. not that we live in the back waters honestly! BUT we got in at 7.45... 8 pm it starts.. 10pm they just got to shipwreck cove.. and then we get an intermission.. my mouth dropped. my kids looked and asked if that was the end... i said no.. we havent we still must have a bit left..
ok 11.10 p.m the credits roll.. ahem.. so we wait until the end and get the final surprise!!
let me tell you about the movie.. It was great.. loved it. a number of laughs. fantastic fight sequences. good final episode. I love keri knightly (sorry dawn)she is very hot in this. the whole jack sparrow is also very cool. love the stone sequence!! hurrah..
ok go see it. enjoy it. but if you havent seen 2 its not a problem.. it does take them a while to get to shipwrecked cove.. but once we are their its great..
Sat morning we slob and watch some doctor who.. hurrah. then in the afternoon a nice walk about in the sun..
Sat evening drove to Gloucester. for a night out with dom and others from work.. went to the vic! then to sloanes then finally to cafe reno.. enjoyed a number of drinks incuded a black russian.. ok bit of a problem as i dont like tia maria and dont like coke. ha ha.. hic...
Sun a drive home and then the afternoon for rehearsal. actually it went ok. I can't believe its next week...

ACTUALLY YOU CAN SEE IT FOR FREE NEXT SUNDAY. 3 p.m. WE do need an audience..

OK not my idea but i loved it!!
1. need a copy of indiana jones theme tune..
2. need internet and switch on to google.
3. need 2 players.
4. you are ready to go.
5. 1 person suggests a word for the search engine on google ie "banana". click enter and you'll get a load of results.
6. add another word to "banana" like "chair" and the results go down.. keep adding words till the music stops.
7. winner of the game is the person with the least number of google hits at the end.
8. So get the theme tune press start and then go for the google game.. when the music stops you see how many hits are left. (my beth beat me with 7)
