Some people dont still know that Bristol Rovers will be playing 2 divisions above Exeter City, they will be playing Yeovil and Leeds next season... HURRAH.

I loved my day out a Wembley (ok i know its better when you win).

Its a really good venue. Every seat you can see the pitch. Ok we spent our money on the cheap seats and we were 3 rows from the back of the stadium at the top.. Vertigo hmmm not even a question to be asked.. you just get on with it. nice bit of fire to start the game and then the players come on the pitch. The shear roar is enough to send a tingle down your spine. esp if youve experienced a football match before. well a large one!

61,000 people filled a 3rd of the stadium as the stupid rules means thouse with Ten Thousand Pound seats are not full. So fans who really wanted tickets cant get them. ok whilst im on a moan.. its a no smoking stadium.. but dare you enter the toilets at half time with more smoke than a foggy day. plus there was a queue for the toilets. come on when have men ever queued for the toilet! plus i couldnt find the place where you sell programmes! rubbish.

back to the game and as we start the rovers look shaky at the back. shewsbury charge towards our goal and bum they score. I look at becky and she looks at me and we decides its going to be another millennium stadium... infact all the rovers fan are sat with gloomy faces. with a disbleif we can actualy do it.

however without warning an attack from rovers leads to one of the best goals Wembley has seen!! he he. one all. rovers fans infact any fan changes their tune instantly. we are going up!! lol.

then another goal seems to blast in as shewsbury seem to be sitting back..

two one! half time comes not too quickly but arrives with a breath of fresh air.

35 mins pass into the 2nd half without much incident. but as the 80th minute passes the passion gains. shewsbury look like they are going to score a number of times. but you know its going to be one of those days dont you when you try and try and nothing seems to work.

88th min we see a corner kick from shwesbury. rovers fans sit with their hands in the faces worried that its going to be one of those late goals.

Corner knocked in but cleared.

However the whole team is up in the rovers half including the goal keeper. Igoe is on the right hand side amost dribbling the ball up the pitch. the goal mouth is empty. Shoot the rans fans cry. Shoot.. more dribbling. more goal mouth empty. come on come on. finally with his right foot taps towards the goal.

it was one of those moments when it could have lasted for ever. the ball seemed to be on crutches. wobbling, hobbling towards the empty mouth. Shewsbury are hurtling home. as the ball limps across the goal line shewsbury arrives home.

unbelieveable scenes around us.

we are going up. tears. people hugging those around us.

on the pitch shewsbury are sat on the grass in shear disbelief.

a pain full 5 minutes still to play as the linesman holds up the board with 5 min to play of extra time.

rubbish.

One last surge for shewsbury but we are there. the whistle blows and we errupt!

Can believe it. 6 years have passed. its the first game ive seen rovers win at wembley.. hurrah... hurrah hurrah..

ok no more stories.. but it was a fantastic day out.

more recently ive been up at my parents which has been cool. right now im up at k's with the children. its raining so we are watching Pokemon 2000!! ho ho..

im also in love. everytime i think of her.. i smile.. hurrah i say hurrah..

more perhaps another time..

So glad you were actually there and that you're in love!! Love Ali.x

Well, the world is a strange place. Some people say they're in love when they're not. And others don't realise it when they acually are. So when people say they're in love I remain sceptical... After all, what does being "in love" actually mean in this day and age? Not much, a lot of the time.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 6:46 PM

well thats a shame. because love is not just an emotion its an action. to love someone is to action it not just to feel it. i prefer a mix of it.. act on what you feel and act when you dont feel it either.

By Blogger Simon, at 11:39 PM

Yeah well I agree with you on that. I'm just getting a bit fed up with people saying they love me and then just disappearing out of my life. If they really loved me, wouldn't they stick around a bit longer?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:28 PM

hey im with ya... i admit i have done this in the past. in the day and age we live in we have so many ways of communication we dont do it. in fact we are rubbish at it.. im guessing this is why facebook and myspace work. it pretends we are keeping in touch with loads of people. Sorry that you feel that way. im sure (and if im one of those people i am sorry)their are people around who do love ya. maybe you want someone to love you intimately and thats a hard one to answer. people are all around us but not nessacary noticing.. i dunno..

By Blogger Simon, at 5:33 PM

Yeah, you're right. I mean, writing messages on someone's blog isn't really good communication, is it? I would like to be loved intimately, but I'm really not very good at relationships. I'm not very good at showing how I feel. I know I don't really deserve to be loved if I don't love people back, but I just wish people could wait a bit longer. My world operates more slowly than everyone else's, which can be very frustrating for the people I go out with. But then it also takes longer to let go afterwards. So they move on and I'm left feeling forgotten about, and that hurts me. Sorry for moaning - just been feeling a bit rubbish the last few days...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:33 PM

Actually I've changed my mind. I'm not rubbish at relationships, so why should I believe that? I'm not perfect, but if people really loved me they would be more patient with me.

Richard Walker scored twice as Bristol Rovers came back from a goal down to beat Shrewsbury in the League Two play-off final and earn promotion.

The Shrews led when Stuart Drummond met Neil Ashton's free-kick to head home.

But Walker replied with a neat finish from Ryan Green's low cross before putting Rovers ahead with a deft chip.

Shrewsbury went close through Derek Asamoah but they had Marc Tierney sent off before Sammy Igoe broke away to seal Rovers' victory in injury time.

Success at Wembley in front of a bumper crowd of 61,589 caps a remarkable season for Rovers, who played at the Millennium Stadium in April when they lost to Doncaster in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final.

Walker and Igoe also notched in that game - which was the last time Paul Trollope's side tasted defeat - and the Pirates join neighbours Bristol City in celebrating promotion this term.

But Rovers had to do it the hard way after falling behind after only three minutes.

Ashton whipped in an enticing free-kick from the right and Drummond leapt highest to glance his header past Steve Phillips and into the bottom corner of the net.

Congratulations to the Pirates and good luck in League One next season

Rovers were clearly rattled by falling behind so early on and, with Asamoah looking lively on the right flank, Shrewsbury threatened to extend their lead.

Ashton should have done better when Green poked Asamoah's cross into his path but he failed to connect with his shot.

And soon after Rovers were level when Green made ground on the right flank before finding Walker, who fired past Chris MacKenzie with a cool first-time finish.

Another Asamoah cross almost set up Andy Cooke to restore Shrewsbury's advantage but instead they found themselves behind on 35 minutes.

Walker raced clear of the Shrews defence and took one touch to compose himself before lifting the ball over MacKenzie and into the net.

It was a sumptuous finish by the former Aston Villa trainee and his 23rd goal of the season.

Shrewsbury's response was to keep coming forward but Gary Peters' side were frustrated by some resolute Rovers defending.

Steve Elliott made a tremendous last-ditch tackle to deny Drummond before Phillips made a brilliant reaction save to deny Asamoah.

Rovers were under mounting pressure but Shrewsbury's hopes were all but ended when Tierney saw red after a late tackle on Stuart Campbell.

The Shrews' last throw of the dice was to send keeper Mackenzie forward for an injury-time corner but they were punished when Igoe broke away and tapped the ball into an empty net.

That put the seal on the Pirates' victory and made sure of only the fourth promotion in the club's history.

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope:
"It has been a great day at the end of a long season and the players have been magnificent.
"We showed good character and mental strength to get back from going a goal down early.

"It's great to be going up a division, and with a new stadium around the corner it's exciting times for us."

Come on Ive had a enough of the rubbish we put out year after year for eurovision.

So ive wrote my own song.... No tune yet...

"One land, one hope, one new beginning.
Make ours a eurovision a dream come true.
That our children one day, one day soon.
Standing together with a different point of view.

Together we can stand.
Together hold each others hand.
Together makr our decision.
Together our eurovision.

It's our differences in faith and languages
Our hopes that kee us strong.
But music brings us alive for ever.
It helps us sing our this song.

Together we can stand.
Together hold each others hand.
Together makr our decision.
Together our eurovision."

ok no tune. no hope.. but it would be as good as flying the damm flag...

Hurrah. Its amazing how long you think you wait to hear about something coming and then suddenly its upon you at last. Then the excitment is over.

Thats right Spiderman is here. I hope its ok. No i hope its great. But then again WHO KNOWS. i shall go and tell you. So if you all cough up 10p GBP then im away....

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.
Rehearsals have started. And its all exciting. Less than a month before i cant use my book anymore and at the moment i cling to it like a piece of tissue on the end of a runny nose. But a few line have been learnt. Now there is NOT ONE EXCUSE as you are all invited. JUNE 18th for 1 week only. It will be sold out.. ha ha ha... well maybe.

So those who are wise enough and know their spiderman.. will know Mary Jane is in The Importance of Being Earnest when ole Spidy boy goes to see her or doesnt as the case may be.

Great Cast Great Fun and a great HANDBAG. Also a nice twist if you've not seen it.

COLIN and MEL
Spent last night there having BBQ fun. Watched the Liverpool v Chelsea Game.. come on Penalties is not really the option. I still like my idea of the two goalies being in goal. the ball is placed in the centre. first goalie to run get the ball and kick it into the other persons goal wins. FAR more exciting..

Heard loads from my friend in Kenya. She's getting a car on my birthday (not from me ahem)

Right must sort me life out matt will be here soon..

Hi to all my facebook friends who read this on my facebook site.
