indeed a fine bank holiday.

spent a lot of it with me kids. friday night we partied together. sat we popped over to lyme and ate cockles (which i love!!!!!). Sun i led, worshiped and spoke at Budleigh Baptist Church. Afternoon we popped over to Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary which was great I even appeared on the Donkey Cam!! lol. An early night then up at 6.30 (on my day off!!) and we went to the Eden Project.

Sunday we purchased a family railcard (which apparently is open to anyone!) and this was our lifesaver. Talk about savings.. well get one and go somewhere by train and save save save.

hurrah. i loved it and beth and daniel loved it as well!!

check out the pics below and then the full amount at photobucket.

talk again soon.

well to a night of laughter we sat and watched this 3 hour spectactular. matt, laura, darren and mel pike voted for LITHUANIA click to see their video. but sadly they lost and the true winners of the best stage show were FINLAND. So well done. Im sure we will hear a lot more from them!!

Hurrah.

I voted for Norway - it might have had something to do with the fact that they were blonde and dreamy!

We had a Eurovision party too! It invovled lots of food, and the interactive sing-along! Twas grand!

God Bless...

wow i kinda feel its been a long ole week.

most days last til about 2 p.m. but two days this week have seen over 12 hours of driving.. grr.

ok so a late night on thursday didnt help either.. little sleep long drive (computer says no)

this week i did the pasty taste test. ok so its not offical but i tasted two pasties. 1 in Perranporth and the 2nd in Penzance.

Perranporth...
large steak was £1.90
full of steak and both swede and potato

loved it. very hot and very filling

Penzance
medium steak was £1.55
nearly a lot of steak and potato etc

it was very filling needed more steak.

So for a bit more money id go perranporth.. mind you the milage may not help....

Sunday, May 7

phew im sat here thinking i'll catch my breath as yesterday was a full on day! not only did i get up, i went to two banks, talk with someone, went to a coffee morning and carwash, hit a music shop to buy leads, customary visit to woolworths, decided not to buy in to pannai sticket book for the world cup (600 stickers to collect and you get 6 stickers for 35p ahem even with out swaps it would cost £35), watched Goldeneye (james bond), did a disco, came back and watched Doctor Who.

so today i shall relax.

but doing stuff instead of slobbing or just hanging around on the comp is mighty fine.

whoo hoo.

what shall i have for lunch..
