ok so tuesday didnt turn out any better than running late apart from the very lovely evening spent in the company of the king. thats right andy king, his lovely wife esther and their two sons calib and elisha (you know i might just have offended them by mis spelling).
torquay has been a bit of a theme over the last few days. two meals and a bus visit!! wow might move their.. lol
today was my day off and ive sat and slobbed. watched 2 episodes of Lost. I cant believe that Lock has seen the monster (or what ever it is) and of course it makes sense in the last 2 episodes on what he says... So im sending back that rental and waiting on the next 4 episodes.. phew. I also did some washing but NOT washing up. My other flat mates are bad. Ive not been in for 3 days (ok ive slept here) and ahem washing up everywhere!!!! i could bless them... could.. Also saw Dave and Tony who came and fitted the final window on the house i used to live in. Went to the tip and whoo hoo talked about what happened at the weekend. Grr am i feeling rubbish??? Yes!!
Then finally ive just seen Matt who tells me of a number of job possibilities. Im still waiting on Mars to be inhabited before i hear about what ive applied for.
Dad is still going for it. Hes a bit tired but i guess the body needs to recover.
Sadly ive just finished my Wallace and Gromit Cheese that i had for Christmas. My crackers are looking sad with out anything to go on them. So a visit to Tesco me thinks.
And so the divorce is finally happenning.

yup still alive. had a bit of shock at the weekend that will have reprocususions for a long time yet.. hmmm.
worked yesterday for 10.50 hrs and today is the same. yuk. not the stuff i love but their we go.
must dash am late.

Well, hopefully the evening's entertainment with the Kings in Torquay was a bit of light relief for you. I know I had a great time. It was really good to chat, thanks for coming over. The challenge is to meet twice in 2006 (we have started well!)

thank for all of ya that have been praying. Im sitting in my kitchen after 3 days of driving and visiting.
did work on wednesday and finishing at 9 i jumped in my car and drove to telord. ok i was a little tired after having driven for 9 hours already.. but you'll be glad to know i made it. arrived at 1 am.
got up on the thursday after a night of cramp (i hate it. no i really do. i hate being sick and i hate getting cramp. grrrrrrr) realising it was 9.30 am. feeling like i should have been up earlier as i was going to see dad in hospital. get dressed and downstairs was my dad. Yeah!! huge hug and we sit down and talk.
turns out he had a heart attack possibly due to high blood pressure. who knows but he is on more tablets now. the guy takes more pills than Boots give out! had a large shock and now was happy to be around.
Over the course of the day (of which we spent in a car!! another story) i talked with him and told him you were all praying and he said "Even though i was having this heart attack i've never felt so much peace". So good ole God. Just praying realy that he starts talking to him again and keep the realtionship open.
so after another sleep i travel back on friday morning. my windscreen wipers fail at weston super mare. so no wipers till exeter.. went to a garage and they will do it on tuesday. ho hum.
got back then drove for 9 hours (yes on top on my exisiting 4 from telford) and was quite tired!
today is saturday and i would love not to go to work. but im driving again soon so watch out exeter..

ive just been reminded of a number of things today
1. that this year for me has been a year of patience and prayer. boy its been a hard one so far.
2. i didnt get the controllers job and this is why... the man who had been orginally appointed to the role after his probationary period was asked to step down. ok in my books if i didnt fufil a role after a set time then yes surely i would accept this and also step down. Ohh no. Not when their is a union around. the union got him reinstated as a controller. Its soo rubbish. mind you someone said i should complain as i didnt even get told about this i had to find it out myself.

4. maybe this really ought to be first really but can you pray for my dad john. he was rushed into hospital today at 3 a.m. My brother didnt tell my sister until 4.30 p.m. and they didnt tell me until 7 p.m. I have a lovely family. hmm prayer and patience....
feeling a bit crappy ok.

so what week..
saw a lad walking down exeter high street with a petrol can in his hand and smoking!
i was so tired that i hit another bus!
watched the last episodes of lost and i was amazed...and waiting!
enjoyed the new series of invasion.
got bored on my day off.
still waiting for a phone call from kye smith.
and so the year continues..

ok I've not written for a while. lots has happened since the 2nd Jan!! i cant believe it...
I've seen another panto with my favoutite comedy duo THE CHUCKLE BROTHERS!! yeah. And they were fantastic. Honestly i love them on tv and yet live you have to see it to believe it. I laughed, the kids laughed and the audience loved it. A very funny scene with Paul and Barry as they do a Pop Star/X Factor style thing. So well worked out.
Been at work which has been so lovely of course!! so days have been good and long!!
Also caught up with an old friend (well not that old)
Then last night i held my first flat dinner party. Matt Turner did the starter. I did the main. Then Katy did the desert. Catherine just attended. Although she did say she was going to bring a bottle of wine. lol
A fantastic night. Much wine and much laughter. Bits of reminising and lots of food.
whoo hoo.
so life is taking a different turn who knows (ok God does)... we shall see.
