and so life continues on its merry way.
 
spent my first week with stagecoach.  Monday was the history and every kinda form you could ever fill in.  Tuesday was a health and safety visit around the bus station!!! NICE. Then in the afternoon I spent doing a theory test!! I only got the book the day before. Wednesday was a trip on a bus.. its actually called "route learning" and this was also Thursdays grand tour.  Friday I had another practise theory test to then be told that Monday I would be doing my actual test. So after 1 week the theory test.  In two weeks time (week on Friday) I will be doing my driving test.  This is great in theory but I haven't sat behind the wheel of a bus yet.
 
So with all the fun of Stagecoach during the day I then worked every night with Tescos.  So out at 7.30p.m. and back at 11.30p.m.
 
Then a trip up to Telford (Friday) and back again Sunday morning at 4 a.m. to work at Tescos for 9.30 a.m.  Hoping that the day would be a short trip out.. ahem.  I was training someone new (wow my second person) and it took 5 hours to complete the 13 drops.

god's not dead..

fantastic quote of the day.. (well what else can i learn sitting on a bus!!!) "if we drink all the good bacteria drinks will that make us like Jesus, cause like he was good wasnt he!" 16 year old boy on the 52 at around 8.30 ish!!

couldnt believe it.

So now started the buses. Met a christian who is doing it alongside moi called trev! nice. did try and convert me and so i became a christian for his morale boast!! Nick our trainer is as camp as can be. Today he wanted to sign my bottom. ahem.

Ive updated the look of the site although not attacked the blog page yet.. it is coming.. not that im bored.

tesco in the evening is a laugh. been training a guy called andy (what have i only worked there 4 weeks!!) and loving it. Tesco just offered me more money and a promotion as well. what is a guy to do!!

thanks for all those in contact. promise in 6 weeks time i will have more of a life!

has it been that long...

oh yes and I fear next time it will be longer.....

So what has the last week been like.

If you asked my hands they would say tough! But in general its actually been ok. Notibal events have included a fantastic disco with katie on Friday night. A disco where men got naked and looked up old women's skirts. Ok the disco wasnt bad but a whole load of people got incredibly drunk and well you know the good ole fights where about to take place.. we then left.

If you asked my eyes they would say tired. I must admit Im incredibly tired. With Kay working the mornings I've had to get up (after getting in every night at about 12) at 7.30 to get to the house. Had a lovley morning this week with both Martina and the Pikes (yes all of them and a girl called Laura). So it is only right I should advertise Darren's NEw Website. ok the week has been great.
 
athough ive over done it!! more hours than ness!!
 
did all day monday, tuesday night which turned into a late nite thanks to farms and the middle of no where.., all day wed then wed night i died on my bed for 12 hours..., thurs night and fri day.. hurrah
 
Still keeping me out of trouble (well maybe)
 
Then of course i was eating breathing ICE videos. Man I've watched over 10 hours of video about the past. nICE! EVENTUALLY at the early hours of Friday morning a ten minute video was produced...
 
Then I found myself on saturday morning travel to the fair city of Bristol with the lovely katie (read her tuesday blogs!).  I was spending the day with Radio Bristol and helping with the live Bristol Rovers Sports Report.  It was fantastic experience.  Interviewing the crowd before hand.  Links up to 3p.m. Then updates every 15 minutes.  Half time report.  Another 45 minutes of reporting.  Then after the game interviews with the player that scored. Plus manager interviews.  A great day out!  Think I've found a new career!! Lol.
 
A nice meal out and then heading back to Exmouth.
 
Sunday (today) meant though i was tired. Oh yes. And so being tired had its effects on the job,,
 
And so the story begins..
 
well lets just say I caused some damage in Topsham!  Just dont go down Victoria Road in a van,  How was I suposed to know.  So some wall dropped and it was only my 2nd drop...
 
So i filled in the report and i refused to go over 20 miles an hour anywhere!!
 
You'd think that was the end of it.
 
Oh no.
 
I get to Beruit (sorry i mean Budleigh!) and am attacked by a paint gun.  Oh yes.  First the van is splatted and then I am. Great!  I refuse to go back their either.
 
So I get back eventually to the store and have to go and see a Duty manager about my accident.  And the good ole managers dont want to deal with it and send me to the store boss.  Great. Well he was ok and asked if I was ok!  What a nice boss :)
 
Picked up the kids and headed off to the bowling alley.  Well you'd think that would be simple...  Oh no.  Within 5 minutes the fire alarm went off and we had to leave the building!! YEAH
 
and now im going to bed.  I'll just check it first. incase it wants to collaspe!!
 
Monday looks like it might be boring..
