ok the first service happened on Sunday

today was the service of commissioning.. which was great about 60 people
tomorrow is service for matthew who died a few weeks ago..

well i have stayed 1 time. and thats all mr ymca you are ever having!
ok its been another interesting week..
back at conference.. they put the first years with the second years and well.. hmmm someones lost the plot me thinks. accomadation ok though.
the course wasnt as challenging but a good refresher. the evening slots were better. Keep the cross at the center. a gr8 reminder of what we should be doing..
HANDS UP WHOOSE FAILED ALREADY!
so the team comes back and we do some training. weekend was dan's 8th birthday and went to diggerland. Met up with MEtal Mickey! but not in the 80's sense of the word! :(
couple of discos and now off to bed and get some rest before i collaspe!

well a bit of a strange weekend.
firstly a weird wedding disco. normally people do the chat thing from about 730 then about 9 eat some food. 945 do the first dance and then we party till about 12 ish.. but the last 2 wedding discos weve done the dance before the food!! hmm must be a new trend? let me know....
sunday i found out a kid from the school i work at died. especially as that night i was speaking on prayer. actually realised that prayer is very important again and have been doing so a lot. for his family and his close friends.
the service i spoke at was a bit strange as well. lets just say you couldnt see anything beyond the front row! those youth services eh..
Monday cancel conference for us and went into school. lot of kids upset. the core group that this lad hung out with couldnt understand as they were the real friends. but we listened and listened some more.
then the evening was doing another disco. look happy yet spiritually and emotionally exhusted inside.
even more need to have more workers who can simply support in what ever way we can.

so another week and now have met with ALL the team.
they are all really gr8 and im sure we are all going to get on fine.
Katie and SARAH has decided to call us charlies angels with God being charlie and im apparently Bosly.. Matt being the Black Bosly!! lol.
the week has been good and caught up with people and seen lots of new yr 7 and seen the old yr 11 turn into Post 16!
course starts again next week. so might even do some more work.

yeah ok
promised i'd update this weekly.
well the ole comp went down again. i LOVE virus's dont u?
hmm. with it all sorted. im going back to work! which will be nice to get in some routine again.
Have been thinking about next year and the fact im still an asignment behind, and still got a talk to plan and car tax oh and i could whinge on.. but im not going to ! well ... ok i wont!
I promised to say hi to MATT TURNER and give his website a plug www.dv8.org.uk not that i had anything to do with it. But a plug any how.
Cant also belive that last month over 200 people I mean like actual people read this. y!!!
So heres praying for a great term. That the new team get on well with one another. And im a good boy! ho ho. let you know on Monday if thats already failed.
